The EU average price (excluding the UK) decreased to €49.76/100 kg, marking a 2.7% month-on-month drop compared with November.
📉 On an annual basis, prices are now around 9% below December 2024 levels, highlighting a clear correction after the highs seen earlier in the cycle.

Southern and island markets such as Cyprus and Malta continue to record the highest prices, while Belgium, Romagna and the Netherlands remain at the bottom of the ranking. The overall price gap exceeds €25/100 kg, underlining strong structural differences between national markets.
