December 2025 brought another drop in milk prices in Europe.
The average price in the EU (excluding the UK) was 49.76 €/100 kg, which means decrease by 2.7% m/m compared to November.
📉 On an annual basis the situation is even clearer – the average price of milk in the EU was approximately 9% lower than in December 2024., which confirms the fading of the previous high price cycle.

🌍 Regional differentiation remains very high:
- the highest prices persist in island and southern countries (Cyprus, Malta, Italy),
- The price spread exceeds 25 €/100 kg, which clearly shows the structural differences between markets.
Poland (49.72 €/100 kg) was found exactly at the level of the EU average,
however, on a monthly basis it recorded stronger decline (-5.9% m/m).
Compared year to year, prices in Poland were about 6–7% lower, which indicates a gradual deterioration of pricing conditions for producers.

📌 December closed 2025 in a clearly corrective mood, and entry in 2026 takes place at reduced price levels and increased market uncertainty.
